What Changes the Price of Wedding Photography?
1. Number of days and functions
A single-day ceremony needs a smaller budget than a two- or three-day wedding with haldi, mehendi, sangeet, pheras and reception. Each extra function adds team hours, travel and editing time.
2. Team size and roles
Traditional photography and video record every ritual and family moment; candid photography and cinematography capture emotion and story. Most couples now book both, which is why a four-person core team is standard in our packages.
3. Films and reels
Highlight films, full-length traditional videos and social media reels each take dedicated editing time. Ask every studio exactly how long each film is and how many reels are included.
4. Aerial and specialist coverage
Drone shots of the venue, baraat and pheras add scale to your film. FPV drones fly closer and faster for dynamic, cinematic shots, and are usually part of premium packages.
5. Crew experience
More experienced teams handle crowded venues, low light and fast-moving rituals with less risk of missed moments. This is one of the main differences between our two packages.
How to Compare Wedding Photography Quotes
- Compare the team per function, not just the total price.
- Get deliverables in writing: edited photo count, film lengths, reels, albums and raw data.
- Ask for the delivery timeline for previews, galleries, films and albums.
- Check travel and extra-hour charges for outstation or late-night events.
- Look at complete wedding galleries, not only highlight reels.
